SAINT-LOUIS

The Cristallerie

Centuries of Savoir-Faire

Saint-Louis, based in the Northern Vosges, is renowned for its high-quality crystal. The region’s glass production history dates back centuries. In 1767, King Louis XV granted the Müntzthal glassworks the title “Royal Glassworks,” renaming it Saint-Louis.

By 1781, the craftsmen had perfected the art of crystal making. Since then, Saint-Louis has blended tradition and innovation, creating exclusive pieces. Now part of the Hermès group, Saint-Louis continues to produce exceptional crystal pieces.

The Art of Crystal

At Saint-Louis, crafting crystals is an art of precision and passion. Each piece begins with the transformation of raw materials into molten perfection.

Guided by centuries of expertise, artisans delicately shape and mold this luminous material into exquisite forms. Whether crafting delicate glasses or decorative pieces, each creation embodies French savoir-faire, making Saint-Louis crystal a timeless symbol of excellence.
